Created in partnership with the Essex Spirits Company<\/a><\/span>, Phol Gin is an exciting and refreshing drink, and the perfect accompaniment to your meal.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The botanicals are macerated for two days in extremely strong & pure alcohol. This process draws out all of the essential oils and flavours in the natural ingredients.<\/span><\/p>\n

These are then placed under vacuum, which allows them to be distilled at much lower temperatures than traditional distilleries (anywhere from 20-40 degrees Celsius in our instance).<\/span><\/p>\n

This is not only more sustainable but also allows us to preserve the natural flavours and aromas of the botanicals without \u2018cooking\u2019 them inside the still.<\/span><\/div>\n

Finally we mix the gin distillate with pure Essex spring water from Elsenham, to give the product a natural and delicious finish.<\/span><\/div>\n
